Introduction to category theory: general lines, topology and logical categories.

A general introduction to category theory aimed at non-mathematicians is proposed, broadly configuring this particular area of mathematical research. An attempt will be made to underline the properties of CT that determined (or at least favored) its great historical success outside the specific scope of its insurgency.
